I have a Color LaserJet 4700dtn with a 2005 firmware, and we also had the issue where attempting to upgrade to the newest firmware (462001 at the time of writing this) would issue the error 49.4CF2.According to this thread:I need to install firmware version lj4700fw461204.rfu first and then I can install the latest firmware.The older firmware files used to be located here:But they are not there.Are the older firmware files available elsewhere? You can upload lj4700fw461305 and then the latest firmware.or attachmentMy first step was the installation of1 - lj4700fw461305, followed by error BAD LUCID XX, which I do not know what it meant. After switching off and on again to display the banner RESEND UPGRADE.2 - I've already uploaded version lj4700fw180.xx (I think it was unnecessary).3 - latest firmware.
